Before the app launches. These Terms describe the planned conditions for using the Intuoris app, which is not yet available for general use. We will verify the features, prices, purchases, and account controls below and publish the confirmed Terms with their effective date before the app becomes available. Viewing this page does not create an app account, start a subscription, or enter you into a service agreement.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Intuoris iOS application and the services we provide through it (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Intuoris株式会社 ("Intuoris," "we," "us," or "our"), a Japanese joint-stock company (kabushiki kaisha), corporate number 9010001267810.
Please read these Terms before using the Service. By selecting the control confirming that you agree to these Terms, you enter into an agreement with Intuoris. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for processing personal information.
1. What Intuoris offers
Intuoris is a service for personal reflection and exploring new perspectives. It invites you to look beyond the surface of a question or experience, consider the context that may shape how you see yourself, and explore what becomes visible when your own experience is the starting point.
Intuoris is intended to help you consider different ways of understanding yourself and the world you experience. It does not promise a particular insight, change, or outcome.
You submit a reflection in text, we use OpenAI's Responses API with GPT models to generate a response, and the response is displayed in the application. The Service does not offer voice interactions. Your submitted reflections and responses are saved so you can review them in the application, subject to the retention and deletion rules in our Privacy Policy.
2. Not medical care, counseling, or therapy
Intuoris is a service for personal reflection and exploring new perspectives. It does not provide medical care, mental health care, counseling, psychotherapy, or other forms of therapy. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental health condition.
The perspectives, questions, and responses provided through Intuoris are invitations to reflect. They are not clinical assessments, professional advice, or determinations about your identity, relationships, experiences, or health. Using Intuoris does not establish a doctor–patient, counselor–client, therapist–client, or other professional care relationship.
Do not use the Service as a substitute for care or advice from a qualified professional. Do not disregard professional advice, delay seeking care, or change medication or treatment because of something you read or receive through Intuoris.
You decide whether a perspective is useful to you. You may disagree with a response, leave a question unanswered, pause, or stop using the Service at any time.
3. Not an emergency or crisis service
Intuoris is not an emergency response, crisis intervention, or suicide prevention service. Do not rely on Intuoris to detect an emergency, monitor your safety, contact emergency services, or arrange help. Messages and support requests are not continuously monitored for these purposes, and an immediate response is not available.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. If you need urgent mental health support, contact a qualified professional or a crisis service in your country. If using Intuoris becomes distressing, stop or take a break and seek appropriate support.
4. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended for your personal, non-commercial use and is available only in the countries and regions we support.
Account authentication uses Sign in with Apple only. Keep your Apple Account and access to your device secure. Do not share your Intuoris account or impersonate another person. Contact support@intuoris.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for your own use of the Service; this does not make you responsible for unauthorized activity resulting from our failure to meet our legal obligations.
5. AI-generated perspectives
The Service uses OpenAI's Responses API and GPT models to generate responses to what you share. You are interacting with an AI system when using these features, not a human counselor or therapist. Technical or customer support from Intuoris does not turn the Service into professional counseling or therapy.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, inconsistent, or inappropriate to your circumstances. A response may sound confident even when it is mistaken. Suggestions about your past, motivations, relationships, or inner experience are possible interpretations, not established facts. Responses may not be unique, and other users may receive similar language.
Consider responses critically and verify information where accuracy matters. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for decisions affecting health, safety, legal rights, finances, or other significant matters. Our use of AI does not limit your statutory rights or our responsibilities under applicable law.
6. What you share and how it may be used
You retain any rights you have in the text and other material you submit ("Your Content"). Share only material you have the right to provide. Avoid including identifying details about other people, and do not submit another person's sensitive information without appropriate authority.
You give Intuoris a non-exclusive permission to process, transmit, store, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the features you request, maintain and secure the Service, respond to your support requests, and meet applicable legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may allow service providers to perform those tasks on our behalf, subject to the restrictions described there. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for limited retention permitted by law and explained in the Privacy Policy.
This permission does not authorize us to publish your private reflections, use them in advertising, or train AI models on them. Any different use would require its own valid legal basis and any separately required permission.
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may save and use responses generated for you for your personal purposes. We do not guarantee that AI-generated material qualifies for intellectual property protection or that you have exclusive rights in it.
7. Acceptable use and our intellectual property
You must not use the Service to violate the law or another person's rights; threaten or harass others; distribute malicious software; gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; bypass payment or security controls; or interfere with the Service through abusive automated activity. Do not reverse engineer the application except where applicable law permits it.
Writing honestly about difficult feelings, distressing experiences, or unwanted thoughts for personal reflection is not, by itself, a breach of these rules.
The Intuoris name, branding, application software, and materials we create are owned by or licensed to Intuoris. Except for the access and use permitted by these Terms, the applicable app license, or law, no rights in those materials are transferred to you.
8. Plans, purchases, and how reflections are counted
A reflection consists of one text submission and one completed AI-generated response. It is not an unlimited conversation or access to a human adviser. A new submission, including a follow-up question, is a separate reflection. Reviewing a saved response does not use another reflection.
One free reflection. An eligible new account receives one free reflection. This is separate from the paid monthly allowance. Using it does not start a paid subscription, and there is no automatic conversion to a paid plan. A subscription begins only when you choose and authorize the purchase through Apple. Do not create multiple accounts to repeatedly claim the introductory offer.
Monthly subscription. The monthly subscription costs USD 39.99 and includes four reflections per monthly billing period. Each billing period follows the subscription dates recorded by Apple, rather than a calendar month. On a successful renewal, a new allowance of four becomes available. Unused reflections from the previous period do not carry forward. Canceling renewal does not remove the allowance for the period you have already paid for.
Additional reflections. While you have an active subscription, you may buy additional reflections for USD 10.00 each through Apple in-app purchase. These are recorded separately from your monthly allowance. Unused purchased reflections carry forward and have no expiry date. Subscription cancellation or expiry does not remove them. You may redeem a remaining purchased reflection after your subscription ends without buying a new subscription; new additional purchases require an active subscription.
We use any remaining free introductory reflection first, then your current monthly allowance, and then additional purchased reflections. We show the available allowance or purchased balance before submission. If no reflection is available, we ask you to make an eligible purchase; we do not automatically buy additional reflections or charge for overages.
A reflection is counted when a completed response has been made available in your account. A failed request, a technical interruption that produces no completed response, or a safety refusal that provides no substantive reflection does not consume a reflection. Technical retries of the same request are not counted twice. If you believe a reflection was deducted incorrectly, contact support@intuoris.com. Receiving a response you disagree with does not by itself mean that generation failed, but your statutory rights and available remedies remain unaffected.
The figures above are the USD prices. The Apple purchase screen shows the price and currency applicable to your storefront, including applicable tax information, before you authorize a purchase. Canadian and Australian storefront prices may differ from the USD amounts. Your confirmed purchase price governs that purchase.
9. Renewal, cancellation, refunds, and account deletion
Renewal. A monthly subscription renews automatically for another month unless you cancel renewal before it occurs. Apple handles payment through your Apple Account and shows the relevant purchase and renewal terms. We provide advance notice of price changes and obtain consent where required. A changed price does not alter a period already paid for, and you can cancel renewal before it applies.
Canceling renewal. You can manage your subscription in your device's Settings, under your name and then Subscriptions, or through Apple's subscription management page. Canceling renewal stops future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the current paid period. Your account and saved history are not deleted merely because you cancel renewal or the subscription expires. Unused monthly reflections expire at the end of that period; additional purchased reflections remain available as described in Section 8.
Refunds and service problems. For Apple-billed purchases, you can request a refund through Apple's refund service. Contact support@intuoris.com for help with unavailable responses, incorrect deductions, unused purchases, or any remedy you may have against Intuoris. A refunded or reversed purchase no longer provides the corresponding unused entitlement; this does not affect other purchases. Nothing in these Terms makes every purchase non-refundable or excludes a statutory right to cancellation, refund, or another remedy.
Deleting individual reflections. You can delete a reflection and its response from History in the application without canceling your subscription. Deleting a completed response does not restore the reflection used to generate it, unless a remedy is otherwise due.
Deleting your account. You can request immediate account deletion in Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is separate from canceling a subscription. Deleting the application or your Intuoris account does not by itself cancel Apple billing. The deletion screen links to subscription management and explains this before you confirm. You may still request immediate deletion even if a subscription has not yet expired.
When you confirm immediate account deletion, access ends immediately. We remove the active account and history from our production systems within 24 hours and complete deletion of remaining routine backup copies within 30 days. Limited records needed for outstanding purchased entitlements, required accounting, or other specifically described lawful purposes are handled as explained in our Privacy Policy. Deletion does not promise immediate erasure of records held by OpenAI or Apple under their separate retention rules.
Deleting your account does not automatically forfeit unused additional purchases. We retain a minimal purchase-entitlement record, separate from your reflections, so you can seek a refund where available or restore the unused balance after signing in again with the same Sign in with Apple account you used for Intuoris. Signing in again creates a new active account; it does not restore deleted reflections. You can use Restore Purchases in Settings or contact support@intuoris.com for assistance. You do not need to resolve a balance or refund request before requesting account deletion.
Inactive accounts. An account without an active subscription may be closed after 12 months without a sign-in or other use. We give at least 30 days' notice to your account email address before closure, allowing you to return, save your history, or request deletion. The same deletion timetable applies. Minimal records protecting unused additional purchases remain available; inactivity does not make purchased reflections expire.
10. Changes, suspension, and ending the Service
We may make reasonable changes to improve the Service, maintain security, comply with law, or respond to technical or operational needs. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will provide advance notice where practicable and any cancellation or refund remedy required by law.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary where delay would create a material risk or the law prevents advance notice. You can contact support@intuoris.com to ask us to review an account restriction.
If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable, explain how to retrieve information available for export, and provide any refund or other remedy due for paid service we cannot supply. Ending access does not remove your privacy rights or our obligations concerning your information.
11. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, error-free AI responses, or a specific personal outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when these Terms were accepted, or for business losses arising from use of a Service intended for personal purposes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability, guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These Terms do not waive your rights relating to personal information.
If you are in Australia, the Service comes with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to cancellation, a refund, correction of a failure, and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. The limitations above apply only to the extent consistent with those rights. Mandatory consumer protections in other countries and provinces also remain unaffected.
12. Apple and other services
The application is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement that license with the conditions for using the Intuoris Service. If there is a conflict concerning the application license, the applicable app license governs that issue, subject to mandatory law.
Intuoris provides the Service and its support. Apple is not the provider of Intuoris's reflection service. Your use of Apple services is also subject to your agreement with Apple.
If you choose to visit an external website or use a separately provided third-party service, its terms and privacy practices apply to that interaction. This does not remove our responsibility for providers we use to process personal information on our behalf.
13. Governing law and resolving concerns
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except that this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your place of habitual residence.
Please contact support@intuoris.com if you have a concern. Contacting us first is encouraged but is not a condition of exercising your legal rights. You may bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law, including a court in your place of residence where the law provides that right. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, an exclusive Japanese forum, or a class-action waiver.
14. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or operational reasons. We will identify the effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes unless an earlier change is necessary for legal or urgent security reasons. Where required, we will ask you to accept the revised Terms. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription. Any rights to a refund or other remedy remain unaffected. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
